Growing up, I was born and raised on the Navajo Nation. Life meant a purpose for me as I was understanding my traditional culture and values. My addiction took its toll at the age of 8 as I was living in Salt Lake City. Alcohol was a way to hinder my pain from the loss of immediate family (my grandmother, mother, sister and brothers) Due to being stranded I did not want to look to my addiction. At the time, I overcame so many temptations. I am here to learn more of the Bible since I grew up mostly traditional. I hope to see “completing Teen Challenge” on my resume one day.
