Life growing up was overall very good, thanks mostly to parents who held it together for my sister and I very well. After my parents divorced my addiction began, and then the harmful behaviors intensified after my dad passed away. The drugs provided an escape from uncomfortable things and a tumultuous life. A recent crisis that brought me to Teen Challenge was being homeless on the streets. It’s God’s will that I be here. I hope to find the healing of my mind, body and soul, and acquire healthy relationships.
