I grew up with a fairly normal family but we lived in an area that was known for gangs and drugs. For me addiction began after the passing of my mother and depression from my career in law enforcement. Alcohol for me was a way to fill the void in my heart. Recent separation lead me to binge drinking and because of this I had to turn down a new job offer in a different state. My hope at Teen Challenge is to allow Jesus to fill my heart with relationship and to grow as a Christian leader.
