John-Marc R.

My parents were very hard-working and I came from a good home. My father was going to college and my mother worked graveyards growing up, so I was alone a lot of the time. I went into the Marine Corps and was married and music was a big part of my life. As part of a local band I would smoke pot to fill the boring spots in my life. When my band started to get popular, I started using meth to be able to keep up. A woman I fell in love with took me down a crazy path. Drugs eventually took me to homelessness. I came to Teen Challenge to develop a relationship with Jesus. My hope is to become a worship leader in my church and realize the call that God has put on my life.
