Growing up was hard, my dad used drugs when I was young and he would leave my house a lot. I started to abuse alcohol at the age of 25 to self-medicate. I have been drinking from sunup to sundown for some time now. In the last 2 months before coming here I started using cocaine. Coming to the Home of Hope I want to gain a deeper relationship with God and receive his healing for all my hurts I have experienced.
