My mom had me when she was 16 years old.  My mom struggled with mental illness, drug addiction, and alcohol abuse.  My dad was barely around before passing away with me by his side when I was just 11 years old. On that same day, my mom gave me my first drug—marijuana—along with alcohol, and not long after, I was diagnosed with bipolar depression and anxiety, which led to me taking prescription medications. Four years ago, I fell into fentanyl and meth use and lost everything and everyone. I woke up one day realizing I was running out of time, which led me to cry out to my Heavenly Father, who answered me and opened the doors for me to come to Teen Challenge of AZ. I’m excited to experience this God-given journey to finally, once and for all, fill the voids inside with my true identity in Jesus Christ.
