Growing up I was alone. The lady that had me tortured me. My addiction began when a friend turned me on to meth when I was 51 years old. I started using socially because my friend had it and brought it with her when she would come to visit on the weekends. I continued to use because I liked the way it made me feel and the energy it gave me. At the time I was older, my kids were grown and I didn’t have anyone to give my time to. It distracted me from feeling alone. I came to Teen Challenge because I would always hear my church  talk about  the Home of Hope. God wanted me here at this place and he was calling on me so I answered and said YES. While here, I hope to accomplish a closer relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
