I was adopted and was the subject of various forms of abuse. I began using drugs to fit in with friends and family, and to also mask the scars of my childhood. My drug use never really stopped until 2003. I then drank heavily for the last 10 years. In 2002, I was saved, but my backsliding prevented me from truly accepting my calling. God brought me to Teen Challenge to accept his calling. I hope to surrender to the Lord fully and completely by getting closer to him and embracing the ministry he is leading me into.
