Growing up I experienced a lot of chaos. There was a lot of pressure on me as the oldest to take care of my two youngest brothers. The first time I had alcohol was when I was 13 and by the time I was 15 years old I was doing cocaine and marijuana. As an adult I progressed to harder drugs in order to cope with past trauma. I did get off of drugs and was clean for almost a year but unfortunately, I relapsed on alcohol. I came to the Home of Hope to be sober, work on my relationship with the Lord, and to have restoration with my family. While here I hope to accomplish these things.
