Rev. Peabody served on the Board of Directors for numerous nonprofit organizations in Tucson, Arizona, as well as on national boards. These include the National Religious Broadcasters Association President’s Council, the SAMHSA National Recovery Month Planning Partners Council, the Arizona National Day of Prayer Board of Directors and the Arizona Coalition for Tomorrow. He also served as a member on the National Board of Directors for the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) from 1989 to 1994. From 2006 – 2012 and 2016 – 2021 Snow was the TC Southwest Regional Representative and served on the Teen Challenge USA Board of Directors.
In Arizona, he oversees five residential centers statewide with a 230-bed capacity, two contact offices, and the Corporate Office and Training Center. In 1976 he began the Springboard Home for Girls that has cared for over 9,000 youth through this Tucson-based 90-day shelter home. Snow also began the Home of Hope, the second Teen Challenge center in the nation to allow children to stay with their mothers while in the residential recovery program. Home of Hope’s program is used as a model for other women recovery centers across the nation. Rev. Peabody was ordained in 1975 with the Assemblies of God and in 2025 was honored for 50 years of Ordination.
Snow has received commendations on behalf of Teen Challenge nationally and locally, including ones from Presidents George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr., Vice President Dan Quayle and Arizona Governor Janice Brewer, and Governor Doug Ducey.
As an alumnus of the University of Arizona, he was one of thirteen students selected to be on the Bobcats Senior Honorary and was selected for Who’s Who in American Universities for 1971-1972. He was honored to receive the University of Arizona Alumni Association 2012 Professional Achievement Award, and in 2013 he received the Spirit of Philanthropy Award from Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Arizona Chapter.
Rev. Peabody’s wife Ladelle was a talented song writer and musician. Snow is a native of Tucson, Arizona, and graduated from Tucson High School in 1968.
Snow and his late wife, Ladelle, were married for 49 years. Ladelle served as the State Music Director for Teen Challenge of Arizona. They have three adult children: Sunny, Heaven, and Crystal Rain, and five grandchildren.
