Dale B.

Growing up, I always felt as if I was alone. I bounced around from foster home to group home and that is the main reason that I felt that way. My addiction began when I was in my early teens and knew that I was not going to college. It started with alcohol and marijuana, and then became more severe after my family members passed away. I began doing drugs like cocaine and crystal meth. The drugs made me feel numb and allowed me not to have to deal with the deaths that occurred within my family. Right before coming into Teen Challenge, I almost died and heard about the program while I was in a detox facility. I am here at Teen Challenge to rededicate my life to Christ and become more serious about taking care of my kids.
