I think it was good that I grew up in a nice home with a good family. I was about 15 or 16 years old when my addiction began. I believe I used substances to escape, to feel accepted, to feel good, and to remove stress from myself. Before coming to Teen Challenge, I ended up really down in my addiction, and found myself on probation. I am here at Teen Challenge for myself, for my family, my kids and to get my life right! I hope to finish this program, to be able to change and to get closer to God.
