Life growing up was hard financially. My mother divorced my father and was a drug addict. My struggle began with mental health problems at the age of 15. My parents started noticing it as well and sent me to multiple mental hospitals trying to get me some help. I also struggled with abandonment and acceptance since my dad left. I believe I struggled with these things because I felt I wasn’t good enough and could and would never be accepted by anyone and I thought I would never be happy. One day at church, my worship pastor began to tell me about the Home of Hope and knew of the many lives that had been changed/transformed going through the program. I decided to give it a try and he brought me here. While in the program I hope to learn more about the Lord and who he is and to learn my true identity in Christ and become a better Christian.
