Antoinette
My name is Antoinette; I am 36 and I have five beautiful children. Growing up I moved around a lot and was tossed between different parents a few times a year. When I was six, I was sexually abused by a family member. By the age of 13, I was using drugs on a regular basis. By the time I was 21, I had three kids and was a full blown meth addict. Lost, broken, alone and spiritually dead, I came to the Home of Hope.
God has healed me tremendously in the past four months now that I’m sober. I have a conscience now, and I am learning to manage my emotions instead of numbing them. My whole way of thinking has changed, how I perceive not only myself but life in general is much better. God has restored my family, my freedom and my purity.
Right before I came to the Home of Hope, my husband filed for divorce, but since I’ve been here he has dismissed it! The CPS case that was against me is about to be closed! God has definitely restored my self-worth; He gave me a new name, “Worthy”, and I can honestly tell you today, I BELIEVE IT!
