I was in CPS from age 13 till 18, in and out of group homes. My parents told me they could not handle me. I started drinking at about 9 years old, smoking weed at 11 and meth at 15. I tried to escape my feelings of being unloved, and alone. I was trying to feel happy. My daughter turned 8 in April; I realized how much time I’ve missed with her, and she told me she needs me back and to do better. I want to build a relationship with Jesus, and build myself through God to be the man and father I need to be. I hope to reunite and build my relationship with Christ to better myself and reunite with my daughter.
