Morgan D.

My dad was in and out of my life from the time when I was seven because of addiction and my mom being the sole supporter was not as present as I had hoped for. I excelled in sports and in school at an early age and put all my focus into that to distract myself from my home life. At the age of 21 I was put on pain medication and gradually my life began spiraling out of control. What started as a necessity became a full-blown addiction to opioids, alcohol, meth, cocaine, Adderall, and marijuana. Before coming to the Home of Hope I was on the verge of suicide. During that time is when God had brought me here so that I can become a disciple of Jesus Christ.
