Until the age of 6, I was a happy child, one of four, but my mother needed help and sent me to live with my uncle, who couldn’t properly care for me. His boss and wife took me in, and the environment was abusive, but she did introduce me to the Lord. At age 20, I was hit by a car, suffering life-changing injuries. I became addicted to prescription medication. My stubbornness made me fight and deny help. I heard about Teen Challenge and now I’m here to seek a positive change. I hope to build my life with love, joy, and find restoration.
